How We Met
It’s the first day of classes, Fall 2016, for Florida State’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning, and the students in the Introduction to Planning for Developing Areas are introducing themselves. Believe it or not, when Hayley introduced herself, Nick replied with a dumb joke. The rest was, of course, history.
After four years of crushing, Hayley spending two years in Moldova, and many hints that Nick did not pick up on, he finally confessed his feelings.
A few months later, Nick was moving to Denver to be with Hayley.
The Proposal
Against all odds, Nick managed to put together a plan that actually surprised Hayley. After brunch, down on the Brooklyn waterfront, Nick popped the question with friends in waiting to celebrate.
